Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Forested elevation with natural and artificial outcrops. Classic locality where the development of Metamorpic Islets was first recognized. Limestones of the Zbirov Formation are exposed (with a karst cave). Ghosts after fossil remains appear in these limestones. Also Skoupá Conglomerate is exposed. Very significant locality from geological and stratigraphical viewpoints. This locality is recommended for protection.
