Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Geomorphologically prominent ridge consisting of a mantle of the Moldanubian Pluton. Cordieritic gneisses and migmatites are present. Cryoplanational terraces occur in all the stages of development. Frost cliffs and other cryogenic structures are abundant, such as frost cliffs, cryoplanational terraces. Block and stone fields can be found not only along elevations foot, but also on the summit of the Velký Špičák Mount. This locality represents a National Nature Reserve.
