Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Section through a part of the Barrandian Upper Proterozoic, Kralupy-Zbraslav Group. Massive fine- and medium-grained greywackes occur with siltstones and shales. Slightly metamorphosed up to the anchimetamorphic stage. Overlying Ordovician basal conglomerate contains clasts of Proterozoic rocks.
