Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry where a porcelanite was exploited. This outcrop shows a coal seam and Tertiary clays in different state of caustic metamorphosis. Even though the metamorphosis was intensive, sediments exhibit their primary bedding and sedimentary structures. Sedimentologically interesting locality.
