Short characteristics of the site:
Active quarry where a porcelanite is exploited. This porcelanite was formed by a spontaneous ignition of a coal seam and caustic metamorphosis of clays. Their thickness if 25 metres. This is the only locality where porcelanite is exploited. Petrologically significant site.
