Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Old vegetated quarries. Outcrops of gneisses of the Kutná Hora Crystalline. Superficial pockets filled with Cretaceous sediments. Their section starts with conglomerates and continues with bioclastic limestones. Upper Turonian age was identified. Rich fossil assemblages. Paleontologically impotant locality.
