Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Serpentinite rocks above the river channel. Also outcrops in a road cut. This locality belongs to the Moravian part of the Moldanubicum. Serpentinite body lies within granulites. Also gabbro dykes occur which obscure a contact between two abovementioned types of rocks. Petrologically significant, also botanically and geomorphologically very interesting locality.
