Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Large peat bog with underlying impermeable sandy and clayey Cretaceous sediments of the Třeboň Basin. This peat bog was formed after Last Glacial. The peat is 6-8 metres thick. Sedimentologically and botanically very interesting locality.
