Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Summit part of a prominent hill. Consists of a neovolcanic trachytoid which was isolated from the surrounding Cretaceous sediments. The trachytoid body has probably a character of laccolith. Adjacent higher hill is formed of the sodalite alkaline trachyte with nepheline admixture. Interesting disintegration phenomena. Geomorphologically and petrologically remarkable locality, also touristically attractive.
