Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Old mines where iron ore was exploited. This deposit consists of bands of fine-grained magnetite and chlorite, with some specularite. Surrounding rocks are formed of greenschists, chloritic and sericitic schists and porphyroids belonging to the rocks of Vrbno Group.
