Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Old gold washing activities. Gold was panned from the Early- and Late-Pleistocene terrace sediments. The gold-bearing sediments lie on the basement of rocks of the Vrbno Group (phyllites, schists, quartzites, dolerites). Interesting example of an ancient gold panning.
