Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry exposing Cretaceous biodetrital limestones. Layers of limestones are separated by several horizons of a hardground. Importat locality for the investigation of the Cenomanian/Turonian boundary. Possible tempestite occurrence, interesting sedimentary structures, rich fauna.
