Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Natural outcrops on a ridge. Rocks are formed of blackish phyllitic shales of the Andělská Hora Formation (Lower Carboniferous, Tournaisian- Viséan). Relics of small-scale recumbent folds are preserved. Sedimentologically and tectonically instructive locality, recommended for protection.
