Short characteristics of the site:
Medieval mine with preserved workings. This small-scale mine exploited gold-bearing quartz veins. Later also disseminated pyrite was exploited for a production of sulphuric acid. Historically and mineralogically significant. Example of medieval mining and processing methods.
