Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Medieval mine where iron was exploited. This deposit occurs in volcanosedimentary rocks of the Vrbno Group (Devonian). Different types of phyllites and muscovitic crystalline limestones are exposed. Historically and petrologically interesting locality.
