Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Old quarry exposing biotitic migmatites and paragneisses. In small depressions relics of Cretaceous sediments are preserved. Middle Turonian section starts with a conglomerate, continues with biodetrital limestones and silty marlstones. Rich fossil association. Paleontologically and sedimentologically interesting locality.
