Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Meandering river channel with numerous outcrops on its walls. Rocks of a Moravian parts of the Moldanubicum are exposed, as granulites, amphibolites, migmatites and gneisses (Bíteš Gneiss). In a lower valley part old exploitation of a crystalline limestone and graphite. Geological reference locality.
