Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry and nearby outcrops. Interesting section of several units of the Bačov Beds (from the Lower Grey Beds up to the Upper Red Beds) . Many fossiliferous horizons, mainly in the black bituminous marlstones. Paleontologically significant locality.
