Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry exposing 150 m thick layer of the Čelechovice Limestone belonging to the Macocha Formation (Eifelian/Givetian). Rich coral and stromatoporoid fauna, also remains of brachiopods, ostracods, crinoids, pelecypods, gastropods, trilobites and another fauna.
