Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned quarry in basaltoids. Exposure of chimney breccia with xenoliths. Rock has been classified as nephelinite basanite. Some xenoliths of Cretaceous sediments are as large as several metres across. Petrologically significant locality.
