Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Rock city (castellated sandstones). One of the most attractive rock cities in the whole Czechia. The area is formed of Upper Turonian and Coniacian sandstones which are penetrated by small bodies of Tertiary neovolcanites (mostly olivine nephelinite and nepheline basanite). Great spectrüm of relief forms of all sizes and sorts. Geomorphologically unique area, touristically very attractive.
