Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry with outcrops of sandstones of the Rusava Beds (Middle up to Upper Eocene) of the Hostýn lithofacial zone of the Rača unit of the Magura flysch. These beds consist mosly of sandstones with layers of petromictic conglomerates. Stratigraphically important locality.
