Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned but reactivated quarry. Outcrops of carbonate flysch sequences of the uppermost Jurassic and lower- most Cretaceous, overlain by marly Cretaceous sediments. They represent a great tectonic slice (olistolith) in the Magura flysch. Sedimentologically and tectonically significant locality.
