Contact metamorphosis has changed claystones into porcelanite and sandstones into so called kačovák (extremely light porous sandstone). Subsurface facies of the solitery monogenic volcano conduit consist of vent breccia and coherent feeder. The subsurface facies have been exposed by selective erosion.
