Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry with outcrops of the Lower Paleogene of the Rača Unit of the Magura flysch (Upper Soláň Beds). This sandstone-conglomerate development is as much as 500 m thick. Sandstone beds are regularly laminated. Sedimentologically and stratigraphically significant locality.
