Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry with outcrops of Těšín Limestone (Berriasian) of the Silesian Unit of the Outer Carpathians. It consists of bioclastic limestones which are developed as a typical calcareous flysch. Sedimentologically and stratigraphiclly interesting locality.
