Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry exposes the reefal Štramberk Limestone of the Baška Development of the Silesian Unit (Outer Flysch Carpathians). The limestones are Late Tithonian in age (Crassicollaria Zone). The quarry is protected area of endangered animal and plant species related to limestone substrate.
