Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry exposes Štramberk limestone with enclaves and fissures filled by lower Cretaceous rocks (Kopřivnice Limestone, Olivetská Hora Limestone, dark grey claystones). At the quarry base 53 m deep karst cave was recently discovered. Quarry serves as a botanic garden focused on endangered local flora.
