Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Archeological site, natural cultural heritage, one of the centre of the historical Great Moravian Empire. Geologically this locality consists of fluvial sandy gravels within the Dyje River floodplain sediments. These are overlain by eolian sands in a form of dunes. Palynological analysis proved the age of 9th century A.C.
