Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Old sand pit. In its lower parts gravel occurs covering tilted Culm beds. They are overlain by calcareous sands with a typical brachiopods and oysters. This locality represents the only occurrence of litoral sediments of Karpatian age in the Northern Moravia.
