Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Old sand pit. Outcrops of coarse-grained quartzose sands with scattered quartz pebbles. Also two layers of petromictic and quartzose gravel. Well developed current bedding. Stratigraphically important locality, the only accessible locality of the Ottnangian fluvial quartzose sediments.
