Short characteristics of the site:
Small abandoned quarry in a Javorník granodiorite. This rock represents a Variscan intrusion in weak tectonic zone. This intrusion forms a 1 km thick and 4 km long body with strong schistosity along its margins. Some other types of intrusive rocks are present. Petrologically interesting locality.
