Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Jizera River channel with outcrops of greenschists and graphitit phyllites with interlayers of laminated silicites (lydites). Graptolite finds in phosphorite concretions which evidence a Silurian age. The only locality with paleontologically proved Silurian.
