Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry exposing a sequence of carbonates in the Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline. Limestones are often dolomitised, in southern parts also nodular. Nearby occurrences of graphitic phyllites and silicites. Reference stratigraphical locality, also karst features.
