Short characteristics of the site:
Old quarries and adjacent dumps. Most important paleontological locality of the Ještěd Ridge. Devonian fauna serves as an evidence of this age. Very interesting karst features, including karst spring. Important locality indicating Devonian facial development, also technical historical monument showing old methods of quarrying.
