Short characteristics of the site:
Group of forested quarries show part of a sequence of the Devonian. Limestones are bedded and platy with interlayers of marlstones. Rocks suffered regional and also contact metamorphosis. Fossils also present, as stromatoporoids and tabulates. Stratigraphically important locality.
