Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
A series of outcrops on the Ohře River bank. Exposures of Middle Turonian marlstones (V-IX), overlain by clayey limestones of the Xb beds with a coprolite layer. The stratotype of the Teplice Formation and a stratigraphically significant locality.
