Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Large placer area in the Otava River floodplain. Gold was washed here as soon as by the end of a Bronze Age, most intensive activities took place in medieval times. Gravelly terrace sediments were richer in gold and are already exploited. Very interesting morphology with relics of gold washing activities.
