Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Large abandoned limestone quarry and a road cut. 50 m thick body of crystalline limestones, ocoarsely crystalline, dolomitized along tectonic fractures. Some interlayers of paragneiss. Interfingering between limestone and paragneiss can be observed. Very instructive well preserved outcrop. This locality belongs to so called "Variable Group of the Moldamnubicum".
