Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Old mining works. Preserved pegmatite dykes with zonal structure with common spessartite garnet. Pegmatite is placed within cordieritic and biotitic hornfels and alum shales within an amphibolite body. The exploitation of pegmatite has been economically important for the whole region.
