Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
A short gallery and shallow subsurface mining of contact Fe ores - hematite and magnetite. The host rock is a small skarn zone within gabrodiorite body elongated along the left bank of the Zlatý Potok (Gold Creek). Up the creek, there are numerous remnants after shallow diggings within the gold-washing alluvial mining of uncertain age.
