Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Prominent elevation on the Elbe (Labe) River bank. Relics of the scoria cone with traces of former crater. Scoria deposits are coarse grained with scattered volcanic bombs and admixture of fragments of basanite lava. In 1914 mighty debris slide on slopes took place and its affects are still visible. The locality is situated in the Protected Landscape Area "České Středohoří - the Bohemian Central Mountains".
