Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Old heaps after the mining of roofing slates. In the clay slates of the Moravian Formation, there are rare fossils, especially the remains of the bivalves of the species Posidonia becheri. There are also relatively abundant traces of the activity of organisms. Near the heaps there is also a former adit, which is a wintering ground for protected species of bats and is inaccessible.
