Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Canyon-like valley cut into quartzose sandstones (Quadersandstones) of the upper part of the Jizera Formation. Sandstones exhibit common current bedding. Also pseudokarst caverns are present together with some interesting weathering relief phenomena. Geomorphologically remarkable locality.
