Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Small abandoned limestone quarry. The limestone is massive and of Middle Devonian age. Their cleavage and network of thin calcite veinlets is typical for it. In digging of ditch a tectonic contact between limestone and biotite-amphibole granodiorite was exposed. This locality belongs to the Moravský kras (Moravian Karst Area).
