Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The abandoned and partly flooded quarry after granite exploitation. In the upper quarry parts intrusive contact with sillimanite-cordierite-biotite migatite occurs. A digital penetration of magma into surrounding metamorphics can be observed. Traces of old quarrying and stone working can be seen around this quarry.
This locality belongs to the Central Mooldanubian Massif.
