Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Elevation formed of lava flows. This is a southernmost superficial occurrence of neovolcanites in the Bohemian Massif. Several lava bodies are formed of an olivinic basaltoid (olivinic nephelinite). Lavas are underlain by Tertiary sediments and weathered phyllites. Geologically very instructive locality.
