Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
This locality represents mighty rocky outcrops of diorites and granodiorites of the Brno Massif. The amphibole-biotite amphibolites prevail. They display a magmatic foliation. The granodiorites contain numerous diorite enclaves. The locality shows also a body of amphibolite, a relic of original metamorphic mantle of the Brno Massif rocks.
The area is partly covered by Pleistocene gravel of the Svratka River.
