Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The outcrop in a gully slope exposes the Skryje shales and siltstones with some interlayers of greywackes. This outcrops represents well known paleontological locality. It can be characterized as the marginal tectonic block of a ridge of Cambrian sediments. Surrounding scree blockś are already poor in fossil founds. This locality belongs to the Příbram-Jince Cambrian Basin.
