Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The outcrops of metagranites occur as injected bodies in a Ratibořský brook valley. Its bodies are laced within a series of paragneisses of the Teplá Crystalline. The metagranite is medium-grained. Surrounding paragnaisses contain biotite, sillimanite and garnet. Nearby, small pit can be found with an vein ouitcrop made of milky quartz. Geologically the rock sequence belongs to the Teplá Crystalline of the Proterozoic age.
